About Me
I look at life through a lens tinted with cynicism. I am thrifty with money, hence very much depriving myself of material fulfilment most of the time.And I think that paying >RM10 for a cup of coffee or a cone of ice-cream is absurd. Happiness comes from having ample time to stay in bed and read/write. I detest pop trash of the latter day and have turned to alternative rock/rock for solace. And I like creative writing. :)

Thursday, August 24, 2006 A good friend of mine turns 18 today...  VINCENT! YOU'RE GUILTY!!!I know. It's a bloody ugly pic. That's why I chose it. xD Okay, so it's All Praises Day. Vincent Kok is a very, VERY talented musician. He is currently studying in Malaysia's Institute of Arts, and has recently been accepted into the Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra. His field of music is the flute. He is unafraid to try new things, or, specifically, new instruments. He is always willing to share with you anything you do not know about music. He is willing to teach, and also willing to learn. But Vincent, you have a lot more to learn about ego. Bitching around with the conductor is not a healthy thing you know, but I can see you have grown out of that shell. =] I look up to you as a wonderful flautist, and as a beloved mentor. You are one of a kind. Happy birthday, fei zai. =)    SEL
