I look at life through a lens tinted with cynicism. I am thrifty with money, hence very much depriving myself of material fulfilment most of the time. And I think that paying >RM10 for a cup of coffee or a cone of ice-cream is absurd. Happiness comes from having ample time to stay in bed and read/write. I detest pop trash of the latter day and have turned to alternative rock/rock for solace. And I like creative writing. :)

Yep, PMR's finally over!!! I'm going to miss Geography. I WON'T miss KH.

First thing I did after PMR was a marathon of 7 hours in-front-of-the-computer(1/2 hour was used trying to conquer this game, check it out, http://www.eyezmaze.com/grow/cube/index.html) . Then went for Sue Ann's mooncake festival party, before that went to 1U, then came back, sleep sleep at 12.30am.

Next day, woke up late (without feeling guilty), went for Phoenix Meet, topic's about Life and Death, interesting...then chose GCO over sleep, went to GCO Room, got my first taste of "The Launch", arranged by Mr. CL Wong himself (the oboist dude) which changes majors about 12 times =.=', dem hard weih, sat there watching CHin Choon and her bunch of junior cellists, then went out makan with Ah Kam and Amanda. Ate the tom yam until can cry(ah lum will be terrified by this dish), gossiped over ais kacang. Followed Johan home, went to Giant for our typical RM1.49 meal, met Pn Yong (KH teacher), she didn't recognize me =/, Can't blame her. After another round of GrowCube (finally solved it!) sleep sleep sleep...

Sunday, today, woke up late, feeling VERY guilty because we were late for Imbi Kaikan cleaning, ahhh, so hurriedly washed up, then flew to Imbi, KL, reached there when they were almost done. =/ gah, nothing for me to do except to clean the windows. The dog in Imbi is superbly adorable, which reminds me...what happened to BK's dog ah?? Anyway, after breakfast, ma and I explored "Beryl's Choclate Kingdom". Gosh the chocolate aroma was so damned strong weih, but Beryl's chocolates are hellishly expensive. oh well. They're good. =)

Then went to WK-SGM, jln Bukit Bintang. Was sorta early, oh well, since woodwinders' session will only be starting at 11.00am, so I was an hour early. Thankfully Pak Lim, Vincent, Teng Jun, etc were already there. Long time no see peepz! So practiced a little, learned new techniques from Vincent (so ironic cuz' it's always flutists and oboeists training me and NOT my own section), snapped a few shots...couldn't resist mate.

Our guest of honour, Giovanni Pasini (if u find this site I apologize because I really don't know how to spell ur name), the principal violist from Malaysia Philharmonik Orchestra, is here to teach us (FOC!) and guide us through the world of music. ^^ (hmm, darn blogger don't seem to like my photos.Hmm)

the ever competitive Vincent and Ah Lum. In a musical duel. I mean duet.

Anyway, soon everyone came, complained it was hot, keke, Song Yeu was walking around looking for the main switch to the air-conditioner... I have many videos but won't be uploading them...it's very controversial. xD

So 11.00am arrived, we joined the strings section, phew, the song (Sinfonia blah blah in A major, by Mozart) would not have been hard if:-

1. it was not an oboe score. Yes, the song does not have clarinet parts, so we're playing 2nd oboe. =.='

2. we didn't have to transpose it by sight. Whatever we see must translate in our minds as a note higher. =.='

3. It wasn't in A major. If not bad enough, once it is transposed it becomes a B major, o.O my weakest major. Semua kecuali B becomes #. =.=' can you imagine??

Anyway, Giovanni has always been a kind soul, utmost understanding, so we, or more appropriately I, was not grounded or beaten up or verbally roasted. Play until the beginning of Andante, then he announces, "lunch time" which is heard by song yeu as "last time". Like, huh, play again??? lol.

And the hazee, urgh!!! I could barely see the next building. I could barely breathe without coughing. Those bloody Indonesians better do something. Okay not that i have any grudges against Indonesians (I have a really great Indonesian friend but he's back in Indonesia now), but seriously, has that country ever done anything beneficial for us? So far there's konfrontasi, the hazes in the previous years, immigrants, now another round of forest burning?
